finally got it!

finally got the car. well this is a very late post i spent too much time enjoying the car. i got it on friday 1/27/12. r8 4.2 r-tronic. daytona grey with carbon door sills carbon side blades and carbon mirrors. it also has alcantara headliner which i really like. the next morning i got it i had tints put on it 30%. huperoptik tints which i really recommend. ive been smiling everytime i get in it and everytime people turn their heads and take pictures.
Comparison to the C63: you cant really compare this to the c63 its a whole different machine. c63 is a torque monster and pulls really hard. the r8 is very fast but in a different way. i feel like on the r8 you can just turn at any speed without loosing traction.

couple of questions: how do you guys adjust to the r-tronic transmission? i usually let go of the gas a little when i shift because its much smoother. i still have a lot to learn from the transmission and the car
