Best place to sell car?

Anyone know the best place to sell my R8? Reason I ask is because everywhere I place an ad, 95% of calls are from the annoying solicitors trying to get me to use their service.

I was thinking of having my dealer consign it, but there goes another $5K off the top.

Any suggestions would be great on how to market it for a quick sale.

Craigslist got the attention of a few. Eventually sold it to someone from Craigslist. I did get a call from a duPont REGRISTRY solicitor, who sent me a couple of free magazines. Good luck with the sale. Will you be picking up something different ?

Hi there,

I have sold 5 exotic cars in the past 8 months. Listed each on Craigs, respective forum and ebay. 1 sold through a forum, 3 sold to leads from ebay after the listing expired, 1 sold through Craigs. The biggest pain with Craigs is the spam offers. You'll get the swing of noticing them and not even replying.

Jeff, I definitely know the CL spam. Easy to spot if you're on CL long enough.

such as: "Can you please tell me more about your item?"

Once I placed 10 items on CL and got the same exact email for each item, from the same moron.
