They built my R8! Delivery in 3 to 4 weeks!

why so loong? if they built it, what do they need to do now.. besides putting it on a truck or so and drive it to you? ??

that would mean, I get mine in august..

(allthough of course its still early enough, but understand me, that I am postponing ever since january.. first it was april, then may.. now the definite prod week 27, which is 1st week july.. i def calced with mid july delivery)

so dont get me wrong, i appreciate being one of the first getting it.. but I want it NOW, and I want it ALL!

Me too! I don't know why the delivery took so long. There wasnt' a chassisnumber in their system yet, so my R8 is not completely booked as built yet

I asked about the transport etc. it's something in the logistics

when we ordered our bmw, we were able to track it on the ship- wonder if the audis can be tracked?

All the press info said: First R8's delivered in second quarter. I was the fourth here in The Netherlands to order the R8 and I should have been in the first productionround for the Netherlands (week 21, just like Lemme's dad! Who ordered it two weeks later than me!)

It's my hobby! A friend of mine is making a car-tripod he will drive in front of me sitting in his bonnet (yes, someone else drives his car) and I will follow, making some nice pictures.

We both have an extensive Nikon DSLR kit, and oh yes we will use it!
