R8 First Ride

Was driven around a makeshift track in the R8 at Le Mans at weekend. Awesome, completely blown away by the handling of this car. The guys doing the driving will be the same for the UK driving experience days so I am told. Can't wait now for Oulton Park.I watched the 4 cars used get driven away on a trailer the following morning, the tyres had melted!!

This tells me Audi is taking this car seriously as it should be considering the cars its going against. Audi is taking people out on a track, shows this is a performance car. It's not like they only want to show it off driving thru the country at 6/10ths looking for good photo ops. Audi is not scared to get the car dirty.

Maybe audi are scared of speeding fines !!!
Last time they were at alton park they came back with over 30 fines !!
