The material that the Capristo exhaust is made from is 309 stainless steel, not your typical 304 which is less expensive. 309 can withstand very high temperatures, similar to Inconel which is used in F1 racing for exhaust systems that is one of the reasons for a higher cost than other manufacturers.

The Capristo R8 does come with a programmable remote control which gives you 3 sound modes while driving, cruise, sport & competition, another reason why it is priced more than most other manufacturers is the welding, final finish & design are second to none. With a major Dyno tested HP increase & much lighter weight it adds to the R8's fantastic performance figures, but most of all gives the car a exotic supercar sound which it deserves.
