Last time I talked to them, only rear ones were available. But, they expected to have the front ones in two months as well (two months passed already, so I'm gonna check again soon).
Thanks for info, checked Capristo's web site but no details of the carbon grills - are you sure that it is something that they do?

I have no idea what you are doing wrong, but the mod works perfect, and sounds even better. Bon Chance.

The vacuum circiut is used by --Secondary air system and manifold change over flaps, that is why you get a fault code if you don,t block the open ends of the pipe T piece. Glad you managed to get it sorted with my method.

here is what i did. as you can see in the pics:

    1. remove the right side engine trim by removing the 6 screws as noted. there are 2 more not in the picture, but you get the point. Keep in mind you'll have to hold up the glass once you remove the right spring (gravity). Also note that you'll have to remove the LED wire prior to yanking out the trim. just be careful.

Once that's out, you can see the tube that is tie strapped to the large bundle. that tube goes to the left exhaust. if you look to the right of the frame, you can barely see the tube going to the right exhaust.

There is a small vacuum T fitting where those 2 meet. just remove each tube and cover the ends of the actual little T tube fitting with a screw or something (one on each side). You will NOT need to plug the long tubes as they have no vacuum (i checked). no engine light will come on.

NOTE. when replacing the trim back, it's kinda tricky. just be really careful on 2 things, one is the glass tensioner ball and the radiator cap. they have to kinda fall into place.

ALSO DON'T FORGET to reconnect the LED lamp.

sound difference is huge between 2K-5K RPM. you can hear the low-end tones much louder. idle seems similar. also, i noticed more of an exhaust smell during start-up and idle.

in my opinion, it's a MUST DO. good luck.

Guys, can anyone comment on the wheel-off-disconnect-at-valves-by-rear-bumper method I did (post #22 in this thread). Did I do something wrong ?

Hi SK1. If you hear the sound change, you did it properly. There is really no wrong way to do this, unless you leave vacuum leaks. the method from the top of the engine bay is exactly the same as the bottom/wheel well method.

you are getting to the same tubes and the same vacuum lines, except one you reach from under, and one you reach from the top.

i think both ways seem to be a pain, but for people like me with absolutely no patience to take the car in, lift it, take wheels off, and waiting for it, i just did it from the top.
