Any way to disconnect the exhaust valve on R8 so its always open?
you can reach them by just lifting the rear end of the car, just pull the rubber tubes out and push a allen no 5 size screw into the rubber tube do not leave the tube open.
Or you dismout the inner cover of the rear wheel and you find a alloy tube with a rubber connector , just do the same work there.
You have to this work on both sides.

Thats garbage. You need an R8 tech who knows his stuff. My tech works on Lambos as well. He disconnected the Vacuum hose under each rear wheel guard as descibed by Ti-Mike. All is perfect. No engine check light and it sounds like a WEAPON!!![]()

Bz888, thanks for the info.
The trick is to bung the end of the vacume pipes, otherwise the check engine light will come on.
A golf tee stuck in the pipe with a jubilee clip securing it will do the trick![]()

Works great. Most easy and effective mod I have ever done. I love the sound now, at all RPM's![]()
