Soon to be released Stasis exhaust

I just stopped by Stasis in Sonoma last week and saw the new exhaust they have developed for the R8. They will be releasing dyno figures as well as the cost of the system sometime soon.
The car is extremely mean sounding. It's hard to describe... perhaps "angry" would do. At idle it's just a bit louder but when hammered, it sounds like a very finely tuned German racing motor. It just screams.
I wasn't sure if I'd ever want to upgrade the stock exhaust on mine. Now I'll have to. It completely changes the presence of the car. I can't imagine there not being an increase in bhp and it will be interesting to see the dyno figures.

Saw this posted over on 6speedonline. IMO, unreal; my favorite sound for the R8, although I can see how many might still prefer the "muscle car" tone of other exhausts.

Dont know what Italians you have been listening too, but out of all the Ferraris, Massa's, Lambo's, Alfa's and Fiats (cough, cough) we have, none of
    them sound like that.

It sounds very German and very good! Italian V8's, 10's and 12's have a far higher pitched scream to them which in its own right sounds very good as well.

Just a little humor ... no offense intended. I have a colleague who owns a Lambo Gaillardo and it sounds very "tinny" and high pitched compared with the sound of my R8 .. I prefer the R8 sound

I dunno about a fart, or Italian, but definitely too aggressive for my tastes. I'm a fan of a good looking car, that can hold its own, yet remain understated. I'd hang my head in shame driving around my neighborhood in something that sounded like that.

    Just my opinion
