Stasis Exhaust installed

Finally ordered my Stasis, should get here next week. Here's to hoping

Does anyone know if the R8 with the Stasis exhaust will meet the noise limit at Laguna Seca? (WOT uphill, 92db at 50')

Good question...can we include info on the other exhausts as well?? Miltek,Capistro,etc.

Hey Desperado, this is Kevin... I introduced myself to you Laguna (I have the matte black R8 that you saw at T-Hill). There is no chance my Stasis exhaust would make sound at Laguna. I think you were close with the stock exhaust. My Exige blew sound as well... its a bummer. I think we should get on the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, eh?

A super trap exhaust tip may be able to be rigged up... perhaps we can talk the Stasis guys into a Laguna Sound Muffler mod for their exhaust.

Truly a major bummer! and thanks, I know you are tongue-in-cheek, but G** NO! I hate politics! Can you imagine how much infighting there must be in an area like that? I'll just drive my car and leave the bickering to others...

That is an EXCELLENT suggestion! I noticed all the Radicals had SuperTrapps fitted. I'm sure with only three or so discs they were quite restrictive.

We had a blast. I think if other owners knew how much fun this is, we'd see more of them at the track. Here are some photos of our two Audis in the Corkscrew. My wife drives the TT, quite well too!

I agree on the politics... driving is much more fun. I didn't realize that was your wife in the TT. She was doing great!

Here's back at you with a couple of random R8 laps from the same weekend.

The first is a little lead-follow with my wife in the TT (an easy 5/10 pace in the R8). The second is later in the same session; without as much traffic it's at a comfortable 7/10 pace.

I can't get your tach to work !!! Get that tach fixed and we have ourselves a winner , Despy .

Sorry. I haven't tapped into the wiring harness to get a tach signal, so no tach and no gear indicator. The speedometer is actually GPS speed. Also, I noticed the accell/decell lights on the dash are reversed. Doesn't really matter, I think you get the idea from watching the video!!
