Davey...From hearing clips that are around it's obvious the Miltek is a smart choice. Just a little nicer than stock and not NEAR as loud as the others. I am sure he did his homework. Click on my link below for a little taste of the Miltek. It is the single best mod. I could make !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indeed I done my homework! Harrison, is yours the Non res of resonated???

I watched the video its awesome, however after hearing the Stasis in real life in and out of the car and idle and driving I scared this Miltek won't satisfy my expectations. But I guess the only way to know if when I get my car back (Hopefully tomorrow!)

Il report back when I get it!

Thumbs up Re: Miltek Exhaust - Getting it fitted tomorrow!

My system is non valved. If that's what you mean. I am only guessing that the Miltek is quieter than the others. You will be the judge. Sometimes I think the Miltek is a bit excessive. It beats honking the horn though!!

This is now installed. Verdict - Brilliant! Sounds what an R8 should sound like. changing down gear its very nice and when revving you can hear a slight F1 tone which is very nice, the sound is very strong and consistent through out the rev range and its just excellent, it makes the car a lot more pleasurable to drive.

Compared to stasis: Its defiantly a more muscle with a very nice burble, the stasis is definitely louder and you can hear the vibration tone in the cabin a lot clearer.

Price the stasis I believe it double the Miltek, so the Miltek is very worth getting. Make sure you purchase the Non-resonated!

    Thanks

Yeah man! All Audi technician was so impressed, I made them start a brand new one that just got delivered and has them side to side and stock sounds like its just ticking over and have no real puur to it. I look forward to giving it a full HD WAX valet tomorrow and a nice sunday drive to enjoy the new sound track Oh and boy is it lighter! I actually noticing my back end being a little bit to high now, might have to result to a new lowering kit! =p

Next in line "A real proper re-map" Evom's filters, possibly lowering kit, can you tell me if you notice any difference with the PPI filters you got? along with the 10mm spacing all round.

Snappier throttle response with a filter kit for sure. Plus never buy another throw away filter. Can't say I notice a difference being wider as the car is killer without them...but every race team will tell you-WIDER IS BETTER. Thats why there are restrictions for width in most serious race classes. The spacers might cause problems later on combined with wider tires and lowering. Am investigating this stuff 'cuz I'll be needing new shoes soon...and the lowering kit. Have you looked into the Quick Throttle Electronic module supplied by LLTEK ?? It seems like another reasonably priced mod. I just disconnected the power supply to the stock rear wing. Will let you know how it works out. I already have the PPI rear wing. Does'nt seem neccessary to have both. I just drove her " WINGLESS " and I sure could feel a difference. Less confident stability. Now to clay bar the entire car, glass and wheels and all. Must be ready for Concorso Italiano. Again , CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
