Milltek Exhaust on an R8 V8 and next.....?

Just fitted a Milltek resonated exhaust on my '08 R8 - three evening's work in the garage - great fun in a perverse sort of way! Man...what a sound...should have done this ages ago. It's not too loud, just a little louder, and enough that I'm driving averywhere with the window cracked open.

Has anyone any thoughts on following this up with an ECU upgrade? There's so many choices - locally I have Upsolute or Viezu ....don't know if these make any difference at all but my feeling is that the car isn't fuelled quite right now with the new pipe...fuel consumption seems to be up but that could be attributed to my driving style now chasing good sounds after fitting the pipe.

Great claims of course from all the chip guys but then I read some people saying they make bugger all difference....
