Supersprint v10 exhaust

Has any member got a Supersprint fitted to their V10

Purchasing a exhaust in the next few days for my next R8 which is a V10 coupe which will be delivered in 4 weeks

Have seen the Supersprint dyno run- clip on You Tube but there appears to be nothing else around.

Would appreciate any feedback/Sound Clips or other thoughts.

AWE looks and sounds great but is uncompetitively priced to what a Tubi,Supersprint etc sell for here in Australia.

FWIW, I've been asking the same question for some time and had no luck. I don't believe that Supersprint has sold any V10 systems in the US at least.

I have done some further digging and spoke to a really informative exhaust specialist who sells all premium brands including Supersprint,Tubi,Capristo,etc etc

The Supersprint is a more aggressive note exhaust but within OEM soundlevels.

The Tubi Loud is best described as Lamborghini Flamboyance and is well over OEM levels but not obscenely loud.

Both internal build quality's and materials are of the best standard and there is nothing to pick them apart.

Increased flow,horsepower increase and removal of Cats is the same on both.

To me the livability of a louder exhaust is not in how loud it is over 3000RPM, but how quiet it is below 3000RPM.
This quiet below 3000 will allow you to control some sanity for yourself and for others.

Cheers..yes I love and adore Lambo's flamboyance but the R8 is stuck in my heart for now.(Obviously as I have bought 3 now))

Audi has really bent me around their little finger with all the VIP treatment and events over the past 3 years and the relationships I have built within the organization and fellow R8 Owners.

Not many MD's of a car company send a email to see if I enjoyed my European Holiday last month.

Who else stops a production line!!!??? Well they did in the R8 Factory for 30 minutes for me so that I could see and sit in very own new coupe which had just been built.

Hook line and Sinker I am!!

Anyway I understand re the exhaust from your perspective but I only drive the R8 on the weekend(no daily driving)

So I need and want noise,excitement,drama and something that is flamboyant and fabulous when I turn the key first thing on a Saturday Morning in the Garage to get the adrenaline flowing.

Sometimes I love the startup sound in cold weather, sometimes it's over the top.

The car needs to sense our moods, needs and desires, and adjust sound levels automatically. nah.

Here's my own AWE Tuning Switching Exhaust.. finished and about to board a plane to a land far away from USA.

Looks a monster..which makes me excited.

I'm curious as to how the system sounds and the levels once you get it installed, Gazza.

I am also. If you get a chance, take some stock volume measurement for a baseline. The Radio Shack meter is not expensive and measurements take only 5-10 minutes to do.
