Help Me decide on exhaust, please

Well the thing I like about the Kreissieg is the there is a switch to open the valves. So when you want her to be loud you can open the valves and when your cruise and use daily you can close the valve. However, as many have said on here, the Kreissieg is expensive compared to other systems that are just as well manufactured.

I've had the AWE exhaust for almost a year now. It's been a great upgrade.

I have the same fitted as well..great exhaust and note.

Love the switchable valve and how there is no drone..but absolutely snarls and is LOUD when you push the pedal down hard.

Guys, I have been offered a used Kreissieg but since it's Valves get jammed when the engine is hot, the owner removed the valves and then used the car for a while without valves and decided it's too loud for him.. he wants to sell it for $3900 .. what do you think?

I just recently installed a StaSis (on a V8). I was back and forth so many times and also did have the luxury (being in LA) to have heard a few. I narrowed it down to the Tubi, Milltek and StaSis. I heard the Tubi. It was WAY too loud. This is of course a personal taste thing, but for me it was a bit much. The person who had it pulled away from the lot and the woman outside smoking a butt said- "wow, that car sounds icky" (her words). I asked why, she said the loudness was obnoxious. Now I would not go that far to say that, it sounds great... but again, it is what you want to get from it. Me personally I would not want to wkae up my neighbors leaving earl morning, this would... I wanted to get that Euro / Italian note from this car, this was not it. So I now had it down to the Milltek or StaSis. I knew I really wanted the StaSis deep inside but the price tag had me in a quandary... Was it really worth that much more than the Milltek...? In the end, it was. At least from what I wanted out my car to sound like. Also, all this $$$ vested in this car, this is one corner NOT to cut. It is such a big part of driving and when you punch thjos thing it makes you SMILE! I also grinded many dealers and ended up getting it at a substantial discount... The Milltek to me was better than the stock for sure, but it kind of was similar... It had that real beefy muscle car sound. I really liked it but wanted to sound more Lambo-ish. I can't explain how happy I now am with this decision! The car sounds like a true exotic now. I guess the only down side is I punch it way more now so hopefully that radar investment will pay off as well! Anyway, all three are very good and an upgrade from stock (as I am sure all the above mentioned are as well). Try to hear it person, if possible... Like someone mentioned here, youtube does not do these systems justice. But heck, I watched so many youtube vids I thought at one point I might have seen them all. These forums were also a big help! Researching it and taking my time did indeed payoff... I am very happy and again the StaSis gets my vote for a V-8! Best of luck on your search...

Let me add one more thing... I do not feel bothered by a 'drone'. Although, I still need to drive it a bit more to be accurate there. So, more to come on that...

hey guys, a question to you all experts, i still have to buy R8, waiting for 2013 price lists... Should i get v8 and change exhaust? or should i go with 5.2, cuz honestly speaking, i can stick to 4.8 but the rims and the exhaust is making me change my mind to 5.2... Any suggestion would be really appreciated
