Help Me decide on exhaust, please

Hello everyone, I have 2011 R8 v10. I want to do a exhaust upgrade, I was happy with the oem , then one day a lambo pulled up to me and I heard him long before I saw him, it sounded great. I have narrowed it down to two, the capristo and the Aprocovic. I am open to suggestions, i do not want a american muscle car sound. The sound clips on youtube just don't do it for me. I am in vancouver bc, would love to hear some of your upgrades if your in my area, thanks

I love my STaSIS since I think it is agressive when pushed but reasonably civil when you keep the revs down. If you are looking for very loud, I thik the Capristo fits that requirement. I agree, no YouTube clip will provide a good enough sample no matter how well it is recorded.

Is there anything you don't like about the stasis exhaust, is there a droning sound in the cabin??

I've had the AWE exhaust for almost a year now. It's been a great upgrade.

I've been thinking of the aprocovic... Sounds the best to me on the videos, but it's quite expensive.

I've the capristo, love it! But if you drive your car everyday and want to use it, I would say in a "chilled" way, then I would go with another one. It's just too loud / annoying going with it for more then 200km, need earplugs

Not at all. Normal cruising speed around town is fine and, more importantly, highway speeds in 5th or 6th gear at 3,000 RPM is all good (you can settle in at whatever speed/RPM you want without having to avoid a drone "zone").

I've had the AWE exhaust for almost a year now. It's been a great upgrade.

I second the STaSIS vote, though mine is a V8. It completely changes the car's personality. Be careful not to go too loud. My brother has a Gallardo with an insane Larini exhaust, and it's too much. I think STaSIS is a good "middle of the road" loud.

Supersprint is in between stock and Stasis. I've heard them side by side and no drone. Very reasonably priced too.
