K&N Filters installed

Thanks to my friend Travis (TravisG@knfilters.com) at K&N, I just had my filters installed on my V8. Look great with CF tips and dynoed with ~+14HP to the wheels at the top of 4th... If you're interested, the part number for V8 R8 is E-0668 and the V10 R8 is E-0669, they should be ready mid sept. @KNFilters.com and retail for ~$250
They look exactly like the ones depicted below, use for the Gallardo

Since when they Audi R8 V8's come with LP560 V10's? LOL j/k

I can believe 14 to the wheels. When I installed my BMC Filters on my V10 it was easily a noticeable difference throughout the powerband. I believe my thread was the start of it all for filters

To be more exact it was It was 8hp in 3rd gear and 13hp in top of 4th, these are the results on my car and was ran back to back with stock “used” filters... I have the graph, will upload soon. contact Travis at K&N for all the details (see my original post), he's very helpful. Here's the actual pic of mine.

When you dynod was the air box top on? I assume you'd want it on so the motor is picking up cool versus engine temp air...correct? Were any mods required to the box for the filters to fit or did they just bolt on?
