Amazing... Filters

You guys are not going to believe this.... Just left Top Speed and they had a R8 on the dyno. They did a pull and then put the BMC filters on there while it was on the dyno and it gained 21 hp. I am not even kidding. I will get the dynos. No one could believe it. I freaking knew it, the filters do help

Nope just exhaust. Put down 434 with the exhaust and then 455 with the filters. It was just the craziest thing ever. No one could believe it.

So with the APR 93 tune (+59) + Exhaust (+10) + BMC filters (+20) we must be around 610 - 615 at the crank?

I would say maybe 490 to 510 at the wheels. So yeah right around 600. I will let you know for sure. Going to put mine on the dyno one day soon before the turbo project begins in the next few weeks. I am so excited.

If the BMC dyno numbers are correct it would appear that the BMC filters are worth the investment. Has the tt project been finalized?

Yep Check was written today. Going to do some crazy things. I'll start a thread for the journey. Build starts in a few weeks.

Wow..that is amazing.

That changes everything I have been told in regards to getting any substantive increase with a filter change.
