    Cool Best performance from normally-aspirated R8 V8?

    Hey Guys,

Just like to know who has the highest performing R8 V8 on this board or by tuners.

It be good to know the highest power output by combination of filter choice and exhaust selection + remap.

Previously I was running quicksilver exhaust + pipercross air filters + remap: output is: 432.7bhp.

Since then I have changed the parts and now I'm running Larini exhaust + PPI air filters + Remap and the car (waiting to dyno), I'm hoping to achieve close to 440bhp due to the better breathing from PPI filters and from the Larini exhaust being less restrictive.

I'm wondering if anyone else is running a different combination and know their power output?

    Thanks
    Dan

Sorry about the responses you've had,I would be interested to know
    This too.

It seems that every time a question is asked about the v8 someone really
CLEVER chimes in and says something about the v10.

    Should be called r8v10talk.com

Anyway back to topic how much did your mods cost you in the end?

I am in same place as you with my V8 it seem I need to put supercharge or get V10. right now I am putting my car for sale if I did not get the right price I might supercharge it. my Dealer did PES supercharge in one R8 V8 he said it was so powerful 600 hp and feel much faster than V10.
