R8 Chip Tunind - ECU remap

Hi there!
I will have my R8 delivered in Q1 08 and looking for a reliable chiptuning to boost the hp and torque of the engine. Do you have any tips?
Have you heard of ziptuning or heron?

Just a thought but since it's the RS4 engine, there might be more remap info on those forums.

Personally, I wouldn't tune mine since the last thing I'd need is Audi revoking the warranty. But I don't have that problem for a year to come!

Don't bother. It's a waste of Money and Time. I had mine Re-Mapped by APR. Did nothing! A tail wind would do more for you!

Burnt a $3500 hole in my pocket.

I got my done and I am extremely happy... I could definitely tell a difference - immediately.

Costs $800 bucks....

The R8 we have at our shop is being done by EVOMS. I will post up the difference when we receive the ECU back on Thursday or Friday.

I don't know if this applies to the R8, but the RS4 engine has a poorly cast air intake(very rough inside) ... a chap has removed his and polished it and has gained power ....

Also apart from the MTM SC, two other companies are working on SC for the RS4 .. so I suppose that might fit the R8 at somepoint.
