Just to clarify. PES system does not "need" water/meth injection. The system is only 5 psi with a very efficient intercooler. The pics that were posted were for optional water/meth. To date, all video and dynos have been without water/meth.

One of the R8's we supercharged dubbed the "R8 Raptor" will be doing the Bull Run next week. 2 weeks ago PES and the owner of the Raptor rented NJ Motorsports Park where the car was tested. The owner of the car, his BR co-driver, and a pro driver drove the car for 5 hours of continuous track driving. The longest the car sat was 40min during lunch. No water/meth installed at that time. The car will be on the cover of European Car soon and also featured on Garage419.com

For the three cars that PES has had in their facility for the initial supercharger installs, Tony gave us the option of having the water/meth injection hookup. It was our choice. I believe all three car owners chose to do it as an added safety/power efficiency measure. I'm not sure how often Ben tracks his car, but I have three full track days the second half of July, and at least six in August. And the Raptor will certainly be running the car hard for the Bull Run. I can't wait to drive mine, and I will be doing a wanna-be Bull Run in driving my car home from Philly. Of course if you never hear from me again after this week, you'll know something went wrong and I was eaten by vultures. But the Raptor testing two weeks ago inspired a lot of confidence for me in this product.

I think it's great that VF is nearing release of theirs as I am sure Bodhii cannot wait to get his car back! I'm very interested to see how well it performs. The R8 is obviously not an easy car to tune and I commend both on developing and making these upgrades a reality for us V8 owners with slow cars.

Can't lie, chuckled at this a little. Though with the V10 coming out I do feel a little underpowered.
