How about a BEFORE and AFTER Dyno chart.
As they have come upo with a HP number they must have them.

They use Audi's 420 HP number as a before and their own 560 HP as an after.

The first thing I wonder about is both of these numbers are at the crank, not rear wheel.
But when they are developing this kit are they really testing crank HP or rear wheel HP and them estimating (Guessing) the power loss to the rear wheels and using that number to calculate the crank HP?

These are older fotos of the same R8 4.2L V8 FSI test engine testing on an Audi RS4. The ECU work for the R8 has been completed. Testing is now shifting to the actual R8 engine and platform this week.

Nice pics. Crude casting and machining...must be the prototype...I often think of adding a 100 h.p. burst of nitrous to have an occasional 560 h.p. and If I blow the motor the other 57,000 could do an AWSEOME rebuild!

Why do you say the casting and machining is Crude??

The finish in the photo is a rough finish texture and painted rather than polished. I'm not sure how the final S/C exterior finish will look. But they said for the R8 it will NOT be red. It will be either a flat black or grey as I understand.
