Hi all,
Is there any way of keeping the engine bay led lights on at night? I think these lights look great and it’s a shame they only come on when I lock the car.

i agree with this, it would be tonnes better if you could flip them on at night....
any idea anyone??? there must be a way of doing this//
I think this is a safety issue. It would corrupt rear view vision with them on at night.
I contacted my dealer and a code exists that can be set to have those lights on when you drive.... BUT they won't do it for you because its against vehicle and traffic law in all US states to ride with interior lights illuminated. That's what they told me. Im not sure how those codes could be changed without dealer assistance but if someone figures it out... Id love to know. Perhaps there are dealers who would do it for you...
Russman
2010 Mercedes Benz CLS550
2010 Porsche Cayenne S
2009 R8 (MT) Suzuka Grey/CF GONE but will NEVER forget
2008 Saab 9-3 Lynx Yellow Convertible
2004 BMW R1200C Montauk
Most likely settings in the Vag-Com. I don't have any windows-based laptops around else I would've tinkered with this already
anyone know what the code is? ill try to get it done by the dealer here...
are they really THAT bright?? when i eventually get my car, i will most def be wanting the codes for this upgrade... that would look so good at night, and as Rich said ^^^ i think the rear view would activate dimming....
