I dont know if they are related or what. I think it may be bad gas, or a fuel filter or pump perhaps. Under the general discussion under gas issue.

I just had a read, those conditions would have nothing to do with the TPS scaling, sounds more like a low fuel stravation condition. Maybe keep the tank full and not worry about the fuel weight while tryin to Vbox for better times..
The Lotus have this condition on high left handers. the solution is an external swirlpot or a better baffled tank..
I haven't felt anything like it in the twisties so faron my R8.

    Just installed the device!

Less than 5 min... ONLY THANKS TO ALL THE ABOVE POSTS...
The real trick is the "click" when pressing down on the white tab behind the original connector to release it.
Did it without even removing the pedal.
Connected the remote before installing and connected the original connector to the device before reconnecting to the pedal.
    Really! easy!
THANKS AGAIN TO ALL THE PREVIOUS POSTS.

Just fiddled with it a bit in the garage and pedal response is impressive, even on GREEN. Can't wait to take it out the garage, as soon as I don't get rain... just don't want to hit the pedal on RED and visit the turf.

    Re: Anybody try the Sprint-booster??

Ordered my Sprintbooster through Audi-OEM today. If I read correctly for some reason
the 2012's do not require the removal of the accelerator peddle, and it's a simpler and
quicker install. I hope so, the more I take apart the worse the process gets.

Will install my K&N filters and the Sprintbooster and see what difference I get.

    Thanks,

You don't need to take the pedal off...unless you do what I did. You need to depress the little greyish white tab in order to remove the plug from the pedal. Somehow I managed to break the tab while trying to do this. I ended up taking it to a local tech who did the install in a few minutes.

Car is more fun with the SB.

I put the BMC filters on and the car seemed more responsive, even before the SB. This week I add the Stasis exhaust (I already had rhe Stasis ECU tune done).

I guess that's as far as I can go with NA performance mods.

As stated somewhere else in this thread, to release the original plug from the pedal, you need to depress the small tab down VERY hard, until it CLICKS, then the rest is very easy.

That's the only trick you need to know.

I did not press hard enough at first, so a few weird noises and words came out of my mouth durign the process!

With or without the removal of the pedal, it is a fairly easy job. I think you need a T30 bit to remove the pedal? Does that sound right Dr. G?

and I was very impressed with the SB on the R8. They have made the product much better than when it first came out.

DHL just dropped off my Sprintbooster... Can someone please verify that this is
the correct unit for my 2012 V10 6MT before I go through the process of installing it ????

    Thanks,
