    Smile Paddles on the column.

Because that is the way designer Valentino Bomboni wanted it. He was a designer/test driver with Lambo since he was 19 yrs old. He was forced into retirement this year at age 60. Unheard of here in the states. Anyways, enjoy these pics of the very limited, (250) , LP550 Valentino Bomboni. Hovy alerted me about this work of art/beuty. REAR wheel drive only, because Valentino wanted it this way. This model commemorates his retirement and will be affecting the entire Gallardo range. Enjoy.

nice shots, but you know, it's like an ancient chinese riddle figuring out what your threads are about based on the title.

Post Re: Paddles on the column.

Riddle explanation: The R 8 R-tronik has the shift paddles on the steering wheel. Most other Exotics have the Shift paddles mounted to the Steering Column. Paddles on the column are becoming "old school." This Lp550 has the paddles on the column-"old School" Hope this helps. It was not intended to be riddle like at all. But I get the feeling you are re-considering the S.C. for the TT. Am I right?

NOT cracks. Characteristics of the Carbon brake package.(Which oddly is an option on such a car). Weird huh ?

it's tempting, but it doesn't seem like the TT is ready for primetime, so the SC will do. Plus, the way I handled 3 cars on the highway today, I don't think I REALLY need that much more power

    Ok, sorry for threadjacking

The R8 interior seems to be very much inspired by the Lambo interior (sorry not seen the Lambo interior before)

Other way around, J1220. This is the first Lambo interior to look decent in my eyes. Definitely R 8 influence on the Lambo. Only those weird Lambo style switches still have to go. (since we're at it). What an improved Lambo interior. FINALLY.

really? this looks like my buddy's gallardo just different color!
I've always thought that the R8 interior (where buttons are placed etc) have resembled the gallardo.

yeah, I'm not sure I like that, at least with metal as soon as you see a crack you know to have the rotor changed. How can you tell with carbon if your rotor is going to fail (never had carbon so I have no idea)?
