You should see a savings of ~40 lbs. for an aftermarket system. Jeff should be able to provide details on the V8 system to be more exact...

What are the chances of Stassis developing a valve system for the R8 exhausts? Its not for me, but I do know other R8 owners here are indeed very interested.

Our system will come in about 35 - 40 lbs lighter than stock.

Bodhii- we could develop a valve system, pm me with your ideas.

A valved STaSIS exhaust for both V8 and V10 would be a great idea. I'm getting my V8 in March and my first mod is going to be the STaSIS exhaust. It would be nice to utilize the OEM vacuum set-up so when I'm just cruising around the car wouldn't shout, at least until I step on it.

So should I hold off until a valved unit comes online?

Stasis developed the R8 V8 exhaust on my car and all I can say is that they went above and beyond at taking care of both me and my car. I was super impressed at how everyone took it seriously and made sure I was happy, comfy, satisfied, and the car was ok too! They are pro's!

Whoever's car they will use will be impressed.

We would like to find someone with a V10 before the end of this month to test the exhaust, preferably on the West Coast. Great deal to anyone that wants V10 exhaust.............
