A while ago I was planning on dropping in on ABT to see their S/C conversion but in the end I couldn't make it, sadly.
Anyway, I have just seen an article in UK EVO mag and it slates the conversion - in a nutshell, they love the extra power and torque describing it as '.. frighteningly quick, charging to the redline with such undiminished vigour that, more often than not, you'll back off before you uncork the full potential.." but they hated the '... the lurch that accompanies throttle-lifts and the flat spot between 2900 and 3400rpm..."
To be clear, I am NOT saying don't s/c, TT, just buyer beware - ABT have a good reputation too! For £20k, I must admit I would want to try before I lashed out that much cash, but then, I'm cheap and a pu$$y.. ;-)
