For years EVOMS sold a VF-Engineering made supercharger system for Porsche 911's under the EVOMS name.
And a couple of years ago they also worked hard to make a turbo system for the Porsche Cayman S. That turbo kit never made it to market.
EVOMS has talented people. I wish them good luck on this new twin turbo kit.

"Last month we started our latest R8 project - twin turbo. The project will consist of a complete engine tear down and rebuilt with new components that are specifically engineered for our high powered twin turbo setup. Since the stock Audi R8 engine has 12.5:1 compression, adding more than 6-8 psi of boost is about the limit for the stock internals. Since our project is being built for 800 + HP, we require higher boost, thus need to develop new internals to withstand the increased pressures and power. Listed below are the new components that we are designing / installing:
· EVOMS designed Forged Pistons (Lowered Compression)
· EVOMS designed High Strength Head Stud Kit - replaces the OEM head bolts
· EVOMS designed Hell-Fire Multi-Layer High Strength Head Gaskets
· Carrillo Connecting Rods
Besides the internal engine strengthening, we will also address other aspects of the R8 including the development of a complete intercooled twin turbo system, increase the capacity of the fuel system, tune the engine electronics, improve the strength of the drivetrain / brakes and install a tuned street / race suspension. Our customer wants the R8 to dominate on the track and still handle street driving without loss of all of the creature comforts that the R8 offers."

Sorry guys, I am late to the forums on this. The car at EVOMS undergoing the full rebuild is mine. I have a confidentiality agreement with them not to talk about the specifics, but there is a list of things on their website that gives the general idea.
Mr. Heffner is correct in that he started on a full rebuild/TT project before EVOMS. That car happens to belong to another forum member, who I will keep nameless until he confesses. But he does happen to live about 45 min from me, so I find it funny that the two known V8 rebuilds going on right now are both from Pierce County, WA.

EVOMS is completing their first "bolt on" TT car as we speak. Last I heard it would be dyno tuned this week. Mine is hopefully going to be completed in May. They are shooting for end of April, but it's April 6 already.

Hey Ben, I've been down a couple of times to take a look. The car basically looks like half the car has been ripped off. Last I heard the internals were being forged in Europe and will come back when completed. Haven't gotten an update in a couple weeks. The plumbing is going to be done in-house down there, and it helped me greatly for them to have a bolt-on car to work on at the same time, so that they can fabricate my pipes while my car was gutted. I'll get some pics on here.....
