Vmax Runs

I have a day of fun at Bruntingthorpe next week for vmax runs. Personal best in 997tt was 192mph so hopefully I can get a 1-2mph more. Anything on the R8 i need to check other than the normal spanner check you would do on all cars?

Change the oil, the 4.2 likes fresh oil, also I hope you are using Super Unleaded.

Need a passenger .. I have a spare £25 in my pocket ..

Sorry seat already taken- Its the V10 not the V8. Last V8 than ran only managed mid 170's.

I look forward to seeing that bluesatin. I'm going to Millbrook next weekend with a Petrolhead Nirvana / Roadcraft training event and should have a chance to do a top speed run on their 2 mile oval with my Supercharged V8 R8. I had it to 175 mph last year on the autobahn but that was not terminal speed, just ran out of safe room. Its now probably more HP than the V10 so this could be interesting, if not a little scary.....

I'm SW London, where are you? I'd love to do a drive with a V10 R8 to see how they match up some time.

Cool. I am anxious to see what speed you're able to reach in the V10. A video clip would be great too.
