anyone try the APR ECU flash?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had this installed? Is it worth it? Can you feel the additional power? I would like to do some minor mods, without getting into twin turbos or superchargers. Any recommendations? Help

Where are you located? Can you add that to your profile?

We have flashed cars here and it is something you can feel. The 4.2L does not get a big surge of power from an ECU modification like the 2.0T cars, but the 15-ish HP is there.

Another nice modification would be air filters and/or an exhaust.

We have also done S/C and TT cars, but that is a whole new level of investment.

I did it and felt well worth it and my dyno backs up claims. Before you do it i would do exhaust and filters, They seem to work very well along side chip. Figure between these three mods I have picked up around 40hp. I put down 350whp and 280wtq while the RS4 than ran ran right after me was 297whp and 257wtq. This was on low reading Mustang dyno and tech said I'm probably about 450-460hp at crank now
