Had car running in driveway and came in house and wife asked me to not leave it running in garage, told her it's not in garage and then noticed pictures on wall were vibrating.

LOL. I had a similar experience with the Larini on the Galardo. My wife and son said they heard me 5 minutes before I got home. So much for sneaking up on them.

I too think the warrany is important and I guess I will be going to Audi to have the install done. The bummer for me is the Audi dealer in Houston isn't shown as authorized Audi installers are in Austin and Dallas. So I wouldn't have any local assistance.

Contact Stasis and they will call the Houston dealer, A project like this could push them to partner with Stasis.

Definitely take the car to the dealership in Austin. That place is one of the nicest Audi dealerships I've experienced.

Hi guys i am new to this forum actually this is my first post i would like your opinions on what i am about to do i have just bought a new Audi r8 v8 2012 it has 95km on it i was thinking of buying a stasis sc but i am worried about warranty issues with Audi or should i wait and put some mileage on it first i have read nothing but good things about this sc but are we sure that Audi warranties will not be void i know that stasis has its own warranty but the rest of the car is what worries me i am looking forward to your thoughts on my delema

If you are seriously considering this upgrade but are concerned about these matters, then (with all due respect for the knowledge and experience of my colleagues here on R8Talk) you need to have a frank and deliberate discussion with your STaSIS authorized dealer, and perhaps with your STaSIS area representative. Only they will be able to provide the authoritative answers you need before making a decision of this magnitude. Opinions offered by forum members are just that, opinions.
