    Which tuner? ABT, MTM Others???

I am in the process of picking up my new V10 and I want to get the power it was designed to produce. So far I have come across the following tuners and their respective claims for a reflash of the 2 ECU's. There may be others.

    ABT 600 HP
    MTM 588 HP
    Cargraphic 565 HP
    STaSIS 560 HP (552 SAE)

Has anyone any experience they can share. before and after, service etc.,

    Thanks

Thanks, I've kept an I on that thread but there is no one on there that has actually tuned their cars. Just speculation so far.

Not too sure for what you are looking. Ti-Mike had this same tuning done, and the link I gave you was the follow up to his good report on the tuning. I was assuming that you had already done a proper search and read the threads about your concerns before posting your question..

Re: Which tuner? ABT, MTM Others???

Good question and maybe I should have clarified. I have no problem understanding the 560 HP claims as this is equal to the Lambo figures. What I am not getting my head around is the 588 and 600 claims with just ECU reflash.

So what I am hoping to find is someone who know of or participated in a run between a 560 tuned car and a 588 or 600 car. In the latter case, 40HP is a substantial amount and should be easily noticed.

For example when a Porsche 997TT with 480 does 100-200 in gets walked by the 530HP 997TT S. I quote Porsches as I am much more familiar with them.

    Harrison

I am a Canadian but I spend time in Germany every summer, one can't get enough of the autobahn. I had a Ruf car over there and the current Turbo was modified at RS Tuning so I've become accustomed to speaking in terms of PS and NM.

Looks like you have your car sorted the way you want. I am looking to make some changes. First change the exhaust, probably to Capristo, due to quality and sound control. The next item I need to determine is which tuner I will use for the ECU.

What I find interesting is the prices that that are charged for a flash.
Prices converted from Euro's when I did not find a US price. Most are in the same price range and then there is MTM, why, I don't know at this point.

    ABT 600 HP $1,800 USD
    MTM 588 HP $5,000 USD
    Cargraphic 565 HP $1,750 USD
STaSIS 560 HP (552 SAE) $2,495) USD *price for 4.2 V8, imagine the 5.2 will be similar

i am in the same boat you are in. contacted germany ABT via email re: sending in my ecu to them but no response. local (miami) ABT dealer said no dice b/c of product support issues in the USA. have not contacted MTM (also a local to me distributor for the US in tampa, fl) simply because 5K is just absurd for a chip- although it seems to be offered. i may call them up just to see if they are willing to drop the price.

i don't consider any other companies because these are the two that are most well known and respected. i am intrigued by the cargraphic choice you made and hope to hear how it all goes. i am not familiar with that company.

i am right there with you. come hell or high water, my V10 will one day make the 560-570 it is capable of.
