    Question for those who Supercharged?

What did you do with parts taken off? Will be picking car up in morning and figured I would just save them but was told they will buy them from me. Not sure what stuff was removed and was told they would give me around $500. I wonder is Stasis mods stock manifold to make the one they sell?

Re: Question for those who Supercharged?

I kept all my parts. In fact, the option to sell the parts back was never discussed so I didn't know it existed.

One of the really nice things about the STaSIS/VF supercharger is it is 100% bolt-on, therefore 100% reversible if you want to put the car back to stock. You might want to do this, for example, if it is a leased car, or you think you may need to do so to pass a state inspection, or ... ? If you sell all your parts, then you have really curtailed the ability to do so.

If I were to go back then would need to have stock Audi program put back on. Car is not leased and our emissions testing is not as bad here in MA as some other States, Also dealer has machine and sure would always pass it. I'm leaning to letting them buy the parts, Figure when I get rid of car in a couple years will be for another Audi and they said they would like to take car back with Supercharger on. Since they did the install, will be servicing and are a Stasis dealer they would have no problem selling. Will be leaving shortly to go pick it up, can't wait for the 80 mile highway drive home. For anyone in the New England area thinking of Supercharging you should check out Inskip Audi, Incredible place, There service area is nicer than most showrooms and have 3 certified R8 techs. Also they are owned by Penske racing so performance is in their blood

So drove the 80 miles to get car today but they ran into a problem. Install went smooth but can't load the software due to the APR tune I had done on car. They need to put back to stock first but being the weekend Audi was closed and they need a code from them to do it. Now tech has to fly back once that gets done. Another thing I found was they had to remove EVO Filter kit, now kind of looks funny seeing 2 white filters through the window.

What a bummer! Why'd they have to take filter kit off? Do you have to go back to the OEM filters with the s.c kit?

Exclamation Re: Question for those who Supercharged?

Too oily a filter could possibly damage the mass air flow sensors. Maybe Stasis can't take that chance.

They said something about it messing up the airflow, at least dealer threw in the stock filters for free. Anyone want to buy an evo filter kit real real cheap?
