Supercharger and warranty in Europe?

Since Audi US accepted one of those things bolted to its engines maintaining warranty, is there any chance at all that Audi Germany would do the same for Europe?

Or should I just buy that $13K engine mark25 mentioned, plug it in (sans electronics) and then bolt the SC on?

As far as I am aware(speaking for the guys in USA)Audi America has nothing to do with the Warranty of Stasis Improvements and Modifications

i.e Not warrantied supported by Audi H.O. and they don't want to know

The 4 year Warranty is by Agreement between the Audi Dealer concerned and Stasis.

Dependent on the problem and or fault.. responsibility is taken on part or in full by either party.

Still appears to be a solid agreement and it would be great to have access to the same arrangements worldwide.

For myself I came very close to supercharging my V8 coupe but after 1 engine failure(which was replaced fuss free by Audi)I couldn't cut of that protection offered by the Factory warranty.

Unfortunately to get around that and get more power I had to invest in a V10 which will get a ECU and Exhaust to bring it up to around 600hp but should still cause no problems for warranty.

If I had a warranty coverage like the guys in the States I would bolt a supercharger on in a blink of a eye.

My advice on these type of cars is protect your warranty as they are not cheap to fix sometimes.

When they replaced my engine I saw the dealer invoice from Audi Germany for the crate engine and it was $47,000(US Equivalent). Remember that is dealer price and does not include any Labor.

Well at the moment there is nothing available from STaSIS that is warrantied in Europe or out of North America that is the same as Signature Series in North America. Regardless of who is covering the warranty you do receive coverage on everything, including STaSIS items, as if the car was completely stock.

Now if a buyer out of North America were to consider product such as a supercharger or other larger modification it speaks volumes to say that STaSIS is confident enough about these items to bring them to market on Audi's like the R8 and warranty them fully. You may not get the same warranty coverage that has labor included when out of North America on these items, however you receive the standard limited parts warranty plus the piece of mind that the items you buy are being sold in other regions fully warrantied.

I'd love to get some of the STaSIS R8 items out of North America and into the hands of those who can spread the word about the items and showcase how well they work. Recently a larger number of STaSIS items seem to be heading into Australia and it would be nice to see that spread into Europe as well.
