It's doubtful.
(I sound like the magic eight ball)

You are the magic eight ball. I have been to your shop.![]()

Technicians comments:
Relative to V8 the inlet duct in the V10 blade is much larger. But the port where the duct connects to the airbox is not. For definitive answer one would need to flowbench both ducts. In theory - no gain.

Hmmm. Someone please break down my little series of assumtions:
I assume you are just talking about putting a V10 blade on a V8 car. Is the port where the duct connects to the airbox larger in a V10 than in a V8? I suspect it is not.
If they are the same size, it seems doubtful Audi would change the blade to a less appealing shape (to most) unless the V8 shape was limiting airflow to the airbox in a V10. If it made no difference in airflow in the V10, then wouldn't the LeMans teams put the V8 blade on their race cars. It looks more aerodynamic to me, but maybe it isn't. I'd guess there is a small benefit to the V10 blade at high speeds, and probably no benefit for road use.
If the ducting to the V10 is all larger, then nevermind. There would be almost no chance the V10 blade would improve the V8 car.

Given Nik's statement above that the induction air ducts are the same size, I agree that there could possibly be a small benefit of more air forced into the engine at high (autobahn) speeds. However, quite a bit of the additional air brought in by the larger V10 side blade is used to cool the engine compartment, including the transmission oil cooler and engine oil cooler.
I doubt the V8 is being starved for intake air, so I stick by my earlier statement that it is doubtful the V10 blade would increase the performance of the V8 by very much.

Ah. I forgot about the cooling part. At least I was correct with the "nevermind".
With that in mind, perhaps the V10 blades would be a worthwhile upgrade for the forced induction guys, particularly for turbo cars.

The wider blades of V10 shld help in slow speeds To feed more air ?
