ive just ordered my V10 for deliver summer, so am also keen to hear as may consider to get at least same output as the GT version if possible. my concern is can/does it harm or damage the car and/or audi warranty etc...as assume it does? then not sure its worth the risk...

I've just been having a chat with a friend who owns a 1000hp hyper car I'm sure you can guess which one. Its stupidly fast to the stage your eyes and brain can't cope.

I've been talking about fitting a supercharger or TT set up but at the end of the day You can only drive it 70ish most of the time. if its got to much power its going to suck on the track and be twitchy as hell.

So does it all just come down to pub talk? "mines fast than yours"

Yep think it does which for me the stock car is fast enough and not worth the risk playing around with the electronics, the only thing i might do is enhance the exhaust note but thats it.

Our cars, especially the V10 are plenty fast and very stable/drivable machines. If you can honestly say that you CAN drive this car to its limits, and you got the streets or tracks where you can do so, you can consider some power upgrades.

But at the end of the day it's mostly going to give you additional straight line boost (and time reductions), it won't help you take the curves any faster

Absolute pub talk and it amounts to not much beyond mine is longer than yours. Although we'd probably all admit it might be fun to have a longer/bigger one.

Can your friend in his hyper car take the curves any faster than you can? ... I have my doubts.

Tell him to dump his old one and upgrade to the super sport for an additional 200HP

I lapped him at silverstone but he was in his scuderia I was in a evo 8 FQ320.
A lot of people I find buy cars just to impress more than the drive of them. thats why I would never be a member on pistonheads

One thing with a veyron I was talking to a guy last year he had a slight off touched the gravel trap caused £350,000 worth of damage.

I think the V10 is quick enough in england anyway only takes one copper to spot you license goes in the bin.
but then again if you want to remap your car then I would make sure they know what they are doing and check there reviews and are live mapping it not just a stock map :/
