Radar & Laser. One switch or two?

I decided to go with a Beltronics STi R Plus and Laser Interceptor and was looking to get some feedback from similar installations. I talked to Cliff at Laser Interceptor and he perfers one switch for each item, as opposed to one on/off for both, so that they work indepedent in case of interference.
Wanted some feedback experience from other members

The STi-R plus anyway has a power button on its remote control. The laser interceptor comes with a switch. It's pretty easy

Yes, I know there are different switches for both, but I was thinking of hooking them up together so that there is only one off/on switch for both.
They are illegal here so I was thinking of this for convenience sake and was loooking for opinions from those who have similar set ups with two different units.

I know you have the same set up with a Blinder, so I'm guessing you used a switch for each unit as opposed to combining them...

On the Bumper Situation, I went to the dealer yesterday and told them what happened, but rather than persue the matter with the bumper, I just decided to get it patched up at a body shop here. Like you said it is a simple matter and so I'm getting it done next week...thanks for all the help

Luckily for you, the STi-R has the ability to be muted and mark location to ignore false alarms. If you had any other radar detector, a separate switch is a must.

Having driven with my new setup for a while now, I still think separate is still better, what happens if one of the devices goes nuts and you want to shut it up?
