Supercharger or Just Exhaust, need advice!

    Hey Guys,

just finished the gumball 3000, an what a trip, will post pics later , lots to upload.

Meanwhile, I want to add some upgrades to my car so few questions. Is the new dual clutch audi in plans for anytime in near future???? If so i would wait to buy that version, if not, i want to add some more ponies to this baby.

Option 1 : Intake, Exhaust, Chip , any suggestions for so cal area or recommendations for which aftermarket supplier to go with?

Option 2 : Full Kit, Supercharger, intake, exhaust, chip, basically the stasis ultimate package.

I don't know much about audi tuning, most important I don't want to void my warranty, what would you guys suggest?

I did the Stasis manifold, chip and exhaust (HPPF Kit). I really like what it did to the car. It's definitely more fun to drive. However, if you can afford the supercharger I'd do that. Stick with Stasis and there are no warranty issues. If you are in the OC area, Mission Viejo Audi does good work. Ask for Jorge, he is excellent.

While option 1 will make the car more fun to drive the only real way to add more power to the V8 is to supercharge. In hindsight I wish I had had gone straight to that instead of wasting money on tune and intake.

Get a supercharger and exhaust, still got a smoking deal available on a STaSIS setup with an exhaust. PM for details if interested.

All comes down to how much you can afford. While I expect products like the HPPF kit and exhaust make a nice difference, the way to really move the needle is with boost. Chip tuning won't get you there with these already highly tuned engines.

A chip does absolutely almost nada for stick shifts. Save your money, get the intake and exhaust if you're going the "mild" route.

Easy to say when you own a V10 but the V8 screams for s/c. Makes it a totally different car

Sorry mate thought it was a v10

In that case if you have the cash upgrade to a v10 and remap it will keep up with a 458 just
