Best way to launch manual?

Any thoughts?
Took traction control totally off, launched at about 4000rpm, 3.9sec to 60 and 8.67 to 100!(vbox) Anyone have a really good technique? Please post. I should be able to due better. Tuner said I should have about 600 horses at crank!(gmg exhaust, carbonio intakes, unitronic's stage2)

I was just at the drag strip last night and tried launch control on and then off at different RPMs. The track intitially was very slippery and I had loads of trouble getting traction (2 runs I spun the tires all of the way through 1st gear). My best times were only 12.2 and the worst runs were beacause of slow 60 foot times due to trouble getting off the line.

Anyway, I previously found the launch control to be the best and had some great runs last year (several under 12 seconds and a best ET of 11.7).

If you have a 2010 or newer the MT cars come with launch control, RTM if that is the case.

Just my humble opinion, but if conditions are good launch control is not best. Rev's to high, you get lot's of wheelspin, then traction control shuts you down and engine revs drop! 11.7 at dragstrip is good! With mods somebody should be able to get low 11's. I will try to get to stipulate before winter.
