Ecu limiter? Really????? Wth?

What the heck does that mean? And why will they do that? lol

A well known intentional detune of the V10 engine so that the R8 will not have the same HP output as the Gallardo which has the same engine, and both of which are owned by VW. An ECU reflash will boost HP near that of the Gallardo.

I agree. Waited until the 6 mo service and had it done at that time knowing that the engine was well broken in.
