R8 V10 STaSIS supercharger install-*PICS*

We just finished work on a 2011 Audi R8 V10 that received the Stasis Challenge Extreme kit. The kit consists of the supercharger, exhaust, sport springs, rear sway bar, and 20" wheels. We also had the car wrapped in matte black vinyl by Skinzwraps from Dallas, TX.
The car is rated at 710HP and is a manual! All of the work was done at the Audi dealer I work at in Wilmington, DE.

Then we had the car wrapped:







Then down to the shop so the work can begin! First the engine had to be removed

After installing all of the pulleys, etc on the front of the engine, it went back in. Then the intake plate was installed w/ new injectors.



Then the charger and airbox go on



Exhaust installed



Alcon brake rotors front and rear



New springs and a nice rear sway bar







Supercharger front mount intercooler installed





Wheels on and back on the ground



Almost back together



All done!

Yes it does. I went and visited my car today that is being supercharged this week and got the scoop.

If you look at the picture of my V10, you can see a silver plate on the front right of the engine. This holds the pulleys and idlers for the supercharger. It can only be installed with the engine out. Other interesting tidbits I got during my visit:

- Stock tubing is replaced beneath the intake plate so that the engine will fit inside a Spyder. Apparently the vertical clearance is much tighter than in the coupe.

- While the tune is set for 91 octane, apparently it can detect higher levels if they exist and boost the power accordingly. The difference between 91 and 93 is noticeable and 100 will knock your socks off!

- storage space inside the trunk is reduced to make room for the intercooler water tank

With fingers-crossed that there's no surprises, I should get my R8 back this Friday. Can. Not. Wait.

Update: Saw my R8 today. Looking good! Should be all done except the ECU update by the end of the day. If UPS do their thing, the updated ECU goes in tomorrow and I'll be picking up in the afternoon!

The car belongs to me...And yes I know and freely acknowledge that I am a lucky Bastardo ) Yep those Phillies come in handy sometimes. Let me say that as for pure speed nothing else in my garage comes close. It has tremendous power all the way to 8500rpm and thats the case in every gear that I have had the cajones to explore. You can very quickly and easily go right to jail with this car. Nice sound too. One thing that was really surprising is that the ride quality is extremely compliant even though there is so little clearance between tire and wheel well.
One last thing...the folks at Winner Audi in Wilmington, DE were absolutely a pleasure to work with. They are a top quality team who genuinely cares about making the car the best that it can be. They are also a super partner in the interaction between you as the owner and STaSIS. They repeatedly went to bat for me when STaSIS owed me some more consideration.

Fantastic build; love the look of the matte black; (I'm partial of course as my car is the same colour). Those rotors look great also.
