    Port & Polish Intake Manifold

Has anyone dyno'd a before and after? Or has already performed this mod on their V8? Any insights/thoughts is greatly appreciated I am patiently waiting for mine from Stasis.

    Was it worth it?

I did the Stasis HPPF kit about a year ago. I did not do a dyno before installation. I'm very satisfied with the results. It performs better than stock and upped the fun factor a bit. However if you are expecting a huge difference you will most likely be disappointed. Save your money and get a supercharger.

Mine's already out to be ported and just wanted to get a feel of what to expect. I did it primarily to improve response and hopefully to further enhance the note+pitch of my tubi.

Rsmr8 did you end up supercharging yours?

Disappointed and over it was the KEY words used by BZ888 on the HPPF Kit.

Dyno before and after from memory was 10hp!.

For a V8..Supercharge it or for $250 just install a Sprint booster which makes the car feel fun faster and much more responsive.

No, for now I'm satisfied. Like you, I was interested in upping the response and tone. I got that. I'd love to supercharge one day but since I don't track my car I couldn't justify it. As a daily driver I can't use the power I have as it is.

Nice. Did you do an Ecu flash along with it?

I did do the ecu flash to take full advantage of the port and flow. Is that what you have planned?

Re: Port & Polish Intake Manifold

I have the Evoms v-flow intake and the Evoms flash already...they don't have anything for a ported manifold, and I'm not sure I want to overwrite it w/ the Stasis flash. I dyno'd it and the combo delivered the gains as advertised 26hp/20tq (or close enough). Their marketing claimed 28hp/21tq. I don't want to risk losing those gains!

Let me know your impression once you get the manifold. It does look nice in black, better than I expected.
