ECU Chip Tuning for my R8 - West Coast

Howdy all, I am new to this site but i'm hoping you guys can recommend where I should take my R8 to have the ECU software tuned? I live in Huntington Beach, Orange County but I am always up in the Los Angeles area. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You have a multitude of options. A couple of suggestions are:

• Any STaSIS-certified Audi Dealer or STaSIS-certified independent performance center. http://www.stasisengineering.com/sta...rmance-centers. There are many local STaSIS Audi dealers, I use Penske Audi West Covina, and really like their service department. Speak with Chris Martin (626) 384-3437. Among the independents, VF Engineering and OEMPlus are both R8Talk.com supporting vendors. Also highly qualified is Fabryce at GMG (Global Motorsports Group), a lapsed supporting vendor of R8Talk.
  
• Any APR dealer in the SoCal area: www.goapr.com/dealer. I've used Michael Kim at Pure Motorsports in San Diego, because he is an Audi Club member and gives club members excellent service. (BTW, if not a member you should join - www.sccaudi.com / www.audiclubna.org)

Thanks for the detailed response desperado! I'm looking into these companies now, also a friend of mine just had his Murci tuned by some company in Newport Beach he said there was an R8 there being programmed as well, he told me the company name but I forgot so i'm waiting for him to get back to my email at the moment. Pretty excited to get the software, seems like these cars respond pretty well from ECU tuning.

I used Mission Viejo Audi to do the HPPF kit on my R8. They did a great job. If you decide to go there talk to Jorge Salceda.

Go HB! Grew up there and now live in LA. You should be added to our list of socal guys that want to get together. I'm looking for a ecu tune for my V8 as well. Please update us on your thoughts when you get it done. You live in Seacliff by any chance?

hblocal nope that's not me but I see a few around HB from time to time. Where is this meet list you speak of?! I'd be down to meet up sometime for sure! In regards to the software I went with Superlative Autosport in Newport Beach, the whole process was a breeze and the difference pre/post software is big. Their office is in PCH near the new McLaren. Anyway let me know when there is a meet schedule next. When I'm in town I like to swing by C&C from time to time, super early for a Saturday LOL but always fun!

I am having ECU upgrade done by ETG.....ECUTUNINGGROUP.com. Up to 40hp increase and better exhaust sound. Will keep you posted. Cost....$995. They do everything from Audi to Lambo,Ferrari,Bentley...etc. Check their website.
