g-force's V10 Spider Twin Turbo Build

Last Friday we took delivery of g-force's (Wayne) 2011 V10 R8 Spider for installation of our Twin Turbo system. Wayne flew into New Jersey to pick the car up from the dealer and headed South to get the process underway. This will be Wayne's third Heffner Twin Turbo vehicle. He is the brave soul that gave us his 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo for development of the first Twin Turbo system. A few years and twenty plus thousand miles later he sold the 2004 and picked up a 2007 Gallardo Spider which was the first Twin Turbo Gallardo Spider. It's safe to say that Wayne is addicted to boost. I will get some pictures of the car up shortly and continue to post pictures as the build progresses. The preliminary dyno results look really good.

Jason thanks for update. Anxious to see the build photos. Even more anxious to experience
the
"boost". It has been 4 months since I sold the TT G Spider..I'm having withdrawls!
BTW it is 2012 and my dealer was in Philly not NJ neither important but you know what a pain
I am for detail so do your usual great job and get it to me for christmas (or close)

i'll be comparing it to the full build Lambos you've done for me which probably isn't fair
but if what you are telling me is accurate ...I'll be pleased.

oh don't forget I like to hear engine sounds so keep it loud please!

At this point the heat exchanger has been installed in the front of the car and the majority of the turbo system is in place. It seems as if Audi has mad e a few changes to the engine mapping for 2012 which explains the additoinal power that this car makes as compared to 2009 through 2011 cars we have tested.

How different are the stock power numbers from previous years?

Is the peak roughly the same, just more under the curve?

v-10's he dynoed.

We will all be interested to hear if you have the same difficulty as the other tuners are experiencing with the new security in the ECUs.
