2012 R8 V10/No Stasis ECU Flash?

Hello, this is my first post and I tried the search feature and found some information on APR, but nothing for Stasis. I prchased a new 2012 R8 V10 with the Stasis exhaust and ECU flash. The car has been delivered to the dealership and the exhaust has been installed, but they are telling me that Stasis does not have the ECU program available for the 2012 R8's. The dealership does not know when it will be available at this time, but other than the ECU the car is ready to be delivered. Does anybody out there have any more detailed information about the status of the Stsis ECU upgrade for 2012 models?

Nevermind. I just received the contact information for ECU Engineering at Stasis. I'll contact him tomorrow and get the straight scoop.

Sounds similar to APR's situation vis-a-vis the 2012s. Please report back with your findings!

I think this is circumstantial evidence that the Stasis tune is a re-sold APR tune, just for more cost and a 'warranty' at an Audi/Stasis dealer.

Or that Audi doesn't play favorites when it comes to releasing the information the tuners need to do their thing.

Any update on the availability of an ECU flash for the 2012 v10?

I spoke with an APR authorized installer in FL and as of 12/29 there was no ECU flash available for the 2012 V10.

He said maybe sometime in February.

Guess there may be some changes in the ECUs precluding using the pre 2012 software.

Wonder just what is different?

Not sure if I should be reviving a dead thread... but just thought I'd add I just had my ECU sent to stasis this week so they could download the codes for the 2012 and try to write new software for it. So I don't believe APR just sells its software to stasis - why would stasis need my ecu in this case, right?!

Hopefully they come up with something soon b/c I'm aching for it =)

I am leaning toward not doing it unless it preforms miracles with the new ECUs.
