R8V10 Versus NissanGTR

on my recent track event had noticed GTR was pretty quick ,And the time difference was huge between my supercharged R8V8 & GTR (5sec)( i could beat V10 R8)
My next target is GTR can we beat them ? R8 V10 GT can it beat GTR ? or Supercharged V10 GT?

An average driver in even a non modified GT-R is a very difficult challange on a road course; the car itself is extremely quick. Throw in a decent driver and there's no way even an R8 GT will be able to stay with the car on a road course. There is one caveat: the GT-Rs have terrible issues with overheating the engine oil, transmission and brakes in hot, humid climates. If a driver in an OEM GT-R is pushing the car in this type of weather, he/she will eventually have to back off to allow the temps to decrease. It is at this tiime that a driver of an R8 GT could then re-take the position.

I was amazed at the GTR even in poor weather it has great grip and power.

I did a few track days in my old remapped V10 I could keep up with a GTR on the long fast straights but on sharper corners it seems to be on rails and then it blasted out of the corners like a built quicker than the R8 and F430 can which seems crazy

That said GTRs do have there problems.

The gtr was built for the track...its a beast with AWD system ..but yes it has its issues as bish

That that its a worry but the GTR drinks petrol like no other car i know,,but it is extremely quick..
on a couple of track days the GTR have to refuel twice as much as the ferrari,s

They still weigh best part of 1900kg, so don't be too scared people... my RS6 gave the GTR's a good run at Spa last year!!

Your car RS6 has a P/W of 384.2hp (E)
My old R8 had a P/W of 351.85hp
Where as the GTR has a P/W of 274.71hp

So The GTR does extremely well for its power quite a few people I've come across have got power upgrade too so the R8 doesn't have much chance good job I have both

Yep, SVM (Severn Valley Motorsports) in the UK are now turning many GTR's out from 750HP to 950HP, beware of those bad boys!
