Right firstly how far did the water come up?

Did the water go inside the car ie wet carpets?

Was the car driven in the water or was it not running when the water hit?

Don't try to start it at this point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right ok first things I would do is check the intakes see if they are wet at all? second pull the plugs and look into the bores to see if any water is in there. You don't want to compress water!

Have you checked the battery has power and hasn't been damaged?

If the battery has power get the current tester and start working away from the battery to see where the power stops.

Its worth taking the ecus out and opening them up and drying them off.

I think I would take the seats and carpet out gives you easier access.

You should be able to dry a lot of things out and clean them up.

There is one good thing if there is no water in the motor

Chase the power lines back if there is no power at all it must be one of the main fuses close or something fairly close to the battery.

Is there any power going to the ecus?

i dont understand why a dealer wont fix it - this is what they are for.
you pay them money, they do things...

Thats because audi dealers are just fitters they have no clue where to even start. in my expensince they struggle half the time to even service a car.

You could do with getting the workshop and wiring manuals will make it much easier I'm sure one of them members can email it you.
