Not going into gear properly

After the cold start this morning my r8 4.2 manual was difficult to get into gears on change down eg. 3rd to 2nd whilst the engine was cold , after a couple of miles once it had warmed up was ok !!! Is this the fluids just being cold or do you think that the clutch may be on the way out ???? It's only got 12k miles on it on a 2008 plate

Any feedback is greatly appreciated .

Never have too much issue on my R8 but had the exact problem on my 355 - literally could not even get it into 2nd when really cold but was fine after everything got warmed up.

Did you find that it was clutch on way out or was the issue never found ???

Pretty universally considered "normal" so nothing was ever done to remedy. The clutch was ok but that certainly could cause that difficulty.

Change the transmission fluid. That always helps!
