R-Tronic Clutch Problems

A quick poll to nail or confirm a members assertion that R-Tronic clutches are generally weak.

Are you looking for everyone with an r-tronic to post their experience?

eg for me: v8 (stock) - 12k miles, no clutch problems

Interesting to read some of the posts from 2007 and 2008.

I believe they have proven a lot more resilient and stronger than was first assumed.

I have an R-tronic transmission. My car has ~13,000 miles on it and is stock. I have no problems with my clutch. I love the R-tronic transmission.

Yes, Good idea. my stock(ish) V8 22k miles, no problems.

My stock 2009 V8 R-Tronic has just over 12k and no problems.

About 7K miles, no problems whatsoever.

10K on mine ... just got the 24R4 update ... lovin' it!

2009 14K 1st clutch replaced. Ongoing R-Tronic issues. Don't know if 24R4 is applied but I wish my dealer could tell me

for the thread to have any real use, I'd think it crucial to indicate any major powertrain mods in the posts.
