Cracked/lost plastic pieces that the shelf storage net attaches to...

Somehow I managed to crack the outer shell of and lose the little circular plastic things that the storage net attaches to on the back shelf. Does anyone know their part number and if I can just pop a new one into the hole without having to open the shelf up? I searched. Couldn't find much. The dealer I called didn't know what I was talking about. I'll try again on Tuesday. Any help would be appreciated.

Broke one on mine too a while back (through ham fistedness on my part as I didn't realise you had to pull the middle out!!!!) dealer replaced under warranty OK though...

Glad they are taking care of you. Audi seems pretty responsive, from my experience so far. Sometimes it takes a bit to talk to the right person, but once you do they are very helpful.

They break very easily and we find a lot of broken ones in our customer cars, so we have a small stack of them here for replacement... p/n's listed above are correct.

Sorry for the bring this thread back but I just lost one of theses anchors (it fell into the hole that it was anchored to). Its the one closest to the passengers seat.

Has this happened to anyone before?

If so, did warranty take it out? Because it seems you gotta take out the seats and all the interior behind the seat to get to it.

I just had my car at the dealer and had to have one of these replaced as it had cracked. Was told warranty only covers trim pieces for the period of 1 year. Thus, I had to pay out of pocket for replacement. Those pieces of plastic are expensive! As far as removing the shelf to retrieve the small piece of plastic, I would venture to say it is unnecessary unless you are hearing it rattle around.

after 1 year they dont honor plastic pieces in the warranty...that sucks

Bummer, but I had all four replaced under warranty just a few months ago, and I have an 09.
