Oil change/1st service costs uk

just dropped off car for first oil change, quoted £450. is this a good price? or should i have shopped around? i didnt have time to look around so took it to my closest dealer which i also brought the car from.

About average actually - I always take my own oil (as I get it free) and it reduces the cost by about £100.

I just had mine oil changed in the US. It cost me $200 and then they remembered I had Audi care and it was free.

Its the labour that costs anywhere from £70+vat - £150+vat per hour.

Unlimited millage.

I did the s14 at the same time started in the morning let it all drain out. Then after I finished some welding work I filled them both up ran them a little.

You live london way your insurance is going to be more.

The oil change cant have been done by Audi for that money. To keep my full service history in tact I had Audi do it and it cost around £450. Just have Audi do the bare minimum to keep your history in tact and your mechanic do everything else!
