I have had to visit the dealer a couple of times for them to get the trip computer going again. My PPI steering wheel just came back from German repair shop. FREE OF CHARGE!! Anyways, I had to disconnect the battery so as not to accidently ignite the air bag. Reconnected everything and now trip computer works again. It didn't fix when I disconnected the battery the first time I took the wheel out.
